You can fly to and from the Gold Coast using two Airports - Gold Coast Airport or Brisbane Airport.
Gold Coast Airport

The Gold Coast Airport is located at Coolangatta, the southern end of the Gold Coast. Its main runway crosses the border between New South Wales and Queensland. There are eight airlines that fly into the Gold Coast: AirAsia X, Air New Zealand, Air North, Jetstar, QANTAS, Scoot, Tiger Airways and Virgin Australia.

The International terminal has a selection of duty free shops for when you arrive or leave. Both the Domestic and International terminals have a great selection of food outlets, cafes and bars. Adiitionally there are other retail shops for fashion, souvenirs or " forgotten something" items.Â

There are a number of options for transport to and from your Gold Coast destination.

A coach transfer with Con-x-ions Coaches will take you door to door to your Gold Coast destination, but you have to book with 48 hrs notice.

Surfside Busline's Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle is a bus service that also offers transport to Gold Coast destinations and northern New South Wales. See there website here for routes and timetables.

Gold Coast Direct Charters offers "exclusive use" chatered coaches for 1 to 21 passengers.

Rental Cars are available. Please check for rates, the best deal and make a booking on our  under the 'Book Your Trip' tab. Car rentals counters are located opposite the check in counters at the airport. If you are picking up any other car rental then please meet them opposite the Transport and information desk.

A Taxi to Surfers Paradise will cost approximate $60. A limousine around $75 or a seven seater stretch limo about $120.

Brisbane Airport
Â
Brisbane Airport is easily accessible to and from the Gold Coast by coach, train and car. It is the major gateway airport for Queensland and is Australia's third busiest airport by passenger numbers. There are many International airlines that operate to Brisbane and they provide direct flights to Asia and the Pacific region with excellent connections to the USA, Europe and the Middle East. There are also frequent well timed connections by Australia's major domestic airlines to all parts of Australia.

Brisbane Airport offers all the services expected of a major International Airport. There are two terminal locations (Domestic and International) and they are located 2.5 kilometres apart. Passengers can transfer between terminals by shuttle bus or Airtrain.

For travel to and from the Gold Coast there are excellent coach services run by CON-X-ION or train services by Airtrain. Both these operators offer a door to door service.Â
